TOTS: 15-24 months

TODDLERS: 24-40 months

TODDLER MIX: 18-36 months

This class incorporates the licensed Kids Co-Motion curriculum. Parents/caregivers and their child dance, tumble and sing together to lively music while stimulating and reinforcing important developmental skills.

CREATIVE BALLET: 3-5yrs

CREATIVE MOVEMENT: 3-5yrs

CREATIVE TAP: 3-5yrs

These playful and productive classes work on developing movement skills, turn taking, cooperating in groups, listening with care and learning to recognize and execute short dances. 

Creative Ballet and Movement: ballet skirts optional

*Students must be potty trained for drop-off classes

*Minimum age for preschool classes for the 2024-2025 season: 3yrs old as of 10/31/24

The foundation for all other techniques, Ballet training strengthens and tones the muscles while focusing on proper body alignment and good posture. It requires flexibility, stamina, 

MODERN 1: 5-7yrs (kindergarten+) 

MODERN 1/2: 6-9 yrs (1st-3rd grade)

MODERN 2: 7yrs+ (2nd grade+) 

MODERN 2/3: 8yrs+ (3rd grade+ min 1 year Level 2) 

MODERN 3: 10yrs+ 

MODERN 3/4: min 1 yr level 3

OPEN MODERN: 10yrs+

Modern is an expressive dance style that stems from the core of the body and uses elements such as floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation.  In the Modern classes, the focus will be on learning technique, improvisation and choreography.

OPEN CONTEMPORARY: (2 Levels) 10yrs+ 

TEEN CONTEMPORARY: (2 Levels) 13 yrs+

Contemporary dance combines the styles of ballet, modern and jazz through expressive, lyrical movement. Dancers will focus on technique as well as learn contemporary combinations.

JAZZ/MUSICAL THEATRE 1: 5-7yrs (kindergarten+)

JAZZ 2: 7yrs+  (2nd grade+) 

JAZZ 3: 10yrs+

JAZZ 4, 5: Teacher Placement

OPEN JAZZ (beg/int): 10yrs+

Jazz is an energetic and expressive form of movement. The music and the styles vary from traditional such as Luigi and Fosse (Broadway Jazz) to the very expressive and dramatic Lyrical and Contemporary. 

HIP HOP 1: 5-7yrs (kindergarten+)

HIP HOP 1+: 6-9yrs (1st-3rd grade)

HIP HOP 2: 7yrs+ (2nd grade+) 

HIP HOP 3: 10yrs+

HIP HOP 4, 5: Teacher Placement

TEEN HIP HOP/STREET JAZZ: Teacher Placement

This upbeat, high energy class teaches the fundamentals of hip hop dance along with choreography. Warm-ups emphasize strength, isolations, flexibility, endurance and musicality.  

TAP 1: 5-7yrs (kindergarten+) 

TAP 2: 7yrs+ (2nd grade+) 

TAP 2+: 8-10yrs (min 1 yr in level 2)

FAMILY TAP: 6yrs - adults

In Tap, students will learn vocabulary, musicality, rhythm and different styles of this technique as well as the rich history of this classic American dance form.

JAZZ/MUSICAL THEATRE 1: 5-7yrs (kindergarten+)

MUSICAL THEATRE 2: 7yrs+

MUSICAL THEATRE 3  : 10yrs+

MUSICAL THEATRE 4, 5: Teacher Placement

OPEN MUSICAL THEATRE: 10yrs+

Designed to not only work on basic dance technique, but also fundamental acting skills with an emphasis on performing through varied songs including Broadway shows. Students will learn different Musical Theatre styles and hone their acting and performance skills while portraying a story.
