FAQs

1. Do I need to purchase ticket for dancer(s) in show? or when they are dismissed at intermission?

• You do not necessarily need to purchase tickets for dancers on day of their performance. All students will stay with their class in our dancer section for the first half and then those who have performed and finished will be dismissed at intermission. 
• We will have a designated section for dancers who have finished to continue to watch the show for the 2nd half
• If you prefer your child to sit with you for remainder of show then we suggest purchasing a ticket as no guarantee there will be an open seat near you.

1. My dancer(s) are in multiple shows. Do I need tickets for each show?

• Yes, tickets are sold separately for each show

1. How will dancers be dismissed? 

• Dismissals will occur at intermission and end of show at front of stage for students who are not permitted to self check-out. One Adult to pick-up.

1. How long is the show? 

• The performance part will be approx. 45 minutes each half.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULES BELOW:

IN-STUDIO REHEARSALS for Level 2+ classes only

Wednesday, June 4 | Thursday, June 5

• LOCATION: VFW Studio 
• Please check schedule for Time Slot 
• Only Level 2 and up classes are called for this rehearsal
• The Ballet class on Wednesday (4:00-5:30) is optional for the Ballet 3 and up, Open and Teen Ballet
• Drop-Off at front of VFW Pick-up in back by parking lot 
• No Costumes - Please arrive in proper dance attire and bring dance shoes 
• Dancers there for multiple time slots can bring food for 30min break in between 

SHOW SCHEDULE

List of Classes in each show is listed alphabetically below. There are several classes 

with the same level so be sure to check your child's class day/time.

Note: Actual Order of show is also below

• LOCATION: Tarrytown Music Hall 
• Drop-Off in the Lobby (front of the Theatre) 
• Dancer Call Time - 1 hour before show
• Company Call Time - 90 minutes before show
• Arrive in Costumes with hair and make-up done 
• If in multiple classes, please wear first costume and you will be assigned a dressing room 
• Parents - please change your dancer into their dance shoes in the lobby...Modern classes, please wear EASY slip on shoes (flip flops, crocs ,etc)  
• Students who are not performing in the 2nd half will be dismissed from the stage at intermission  
• Please send ONE PARENT to front of stage to pick-up...We will dismiss one class at a time

Costume Notes for each class are listed below under Teacher's name. Some classes are still being finalized.

 COSTUMES

• Costumes are shipped to us at different times and we will send home as soon as they arrive
• Please try them on the day they are sent home and let us know immediately if any issues. Note: Costumes may not feel as comfortable as regular clothes and will generally fit snug (depending on the costume)
• When we can, we will have them try on in class
• Be sure to hang them neatly and not use until the shows
• We cannot replace any lost items from their costumes
• Students are responsible for their own dance shoes and tights for the show (see costume notes below)

CLASS ATTENDANCE

Consistent attendance to class is extremely important as we prepare for the Showcase

• Attendance helps with their growth as a dancer, their ability to learn and retain the choreography and builds their confidence by helping them feel prepared for the performance
• Dance choreography is designed for the class so when one person is missing it affects everyone with spacing, timing, etc.
• Please contact the office if your child will be absent from class
